How far is the Villa from the beach in Positano?
The Villa is in Nocelle, a small hamlet of Positano that is about 20 minutes by car from the center.
How can I get to the town center?
Villa degli Dei provides its Guests with a free shuttle service which runs 2 times a day (times to be agreed with the villa host). There are 4 guaranteed routes, but we are always able to organize a private transfer if necessary. Furthermore, there is also a bus service which departs from the parking lot in Nocelle every hour and tickets can be bought on board.
What is the check-in procedure?
To make your arrival as smooth as possible, we recommend you arrive at the Eden Roc Hotel in Positano, in Via G. Marconi 110, on the main road. The villa host will then take you to your accommodation, helping with the transfer to Nocelle, transport your baggage and show you the villa. These services are guaranteed and included in the booking fee.
Once I get to Nocelle, is it far to the property?
Once you arrive in Nocelle, we will take care of transporting your baggage to the villa. Then an elevator will take you to the road leading to the villa easily, avoiding the 70-80 steps that separate it from the parking lot. About 3 minutes on foot will take you to Villa degli Dei.
How many people can the villa sleep?
There are 5 bedrooms and as many bathrooms (plus a powder room near the kitchen), for a maximum of 11 guests (one of the rooms has a sofa bed for a third person). In some of the rooms the double beds can be separated into two singles if necessary.
Is there the possibility to have a cot?
It is possible to have a cot. Just send us the request so we can arrange it for you.
Are there any shops in Nocelle to buy groceries?
About 300 meters from the entrance to Villa degli Dei there is a well-stocked grocery store. In the event you would like the villa to be stocked with food and drink before your arrival, just send us a list of the things you need.
Are there any restaurants in the vicinity?
Just a stone’s throw away there is the Ristorante Santa Croce and the Rifugio dei Mele. They are both reachable on foot and offer spectacular views and excellent cuisine. Not far away and with the shuttle service, we can recommend the La Tagliata and Il Ritrovo restaurants. Finally, Villa degli Dei can count on an exclusive and a very convenient shuttle service provided by the restaurants Adamo ed Eva and Roc Pizza & Steak in the center of Positano. Both can be found inside the Eden Roc Hotel, which is owned and managed by the same family as Villa degli Dei.
What is there to do in the local area?
The main attraction is the Sentiero degli Dei, the Path of the Gods that starts in Bomerano (near Agerola) and ends in Nocelle. It is one of the most popular and panoramic paths in the world with breathtaking views along the entire Amalfi coast, Punta Campanella and the Faraglioni in Capri. Furthermore, we also recommend a visit to Capri, the Amalfi Coast, the archaeological excavations in Pompeii, a boat excursion, a cooking class and oil and/or wine tastings. We will be happy to help you.
Is there the possibility of using a car if necessary?
The villa host and the concierge at the villa will be at your complete disposal at all times. You can contact us for help with transfers, restaurant bookings, to organize excursions, guided tours and for any other request. Villa degli Dei has a special internal number that connects to the reception at the Eden Roc Hotel in Positano.
Is breakfast included?
Your booking only includes the room. However, we can organize a breakfast service at the villa for a fee of 45 euro per person. It is supplied by one of the local restaurants and can be personalized according to preferences; just let us know what you require in advance.
Is there a Chef available for dinner in the villa?
There is the possibility of booking the Chef service for dinner. The additional fixed cost is 200 euro, plus an extra cost of 80 euro per person for a four-course meal (appetizer, first course, second course and dessert), to be chosen from the various proposals from the Chef.
Who does the cleaning?
Cleaning is carried out for 4 hours in the morning, with flexible times according to your needs. The service as well as final cleaning are included in the booking fee.
Is the pool heated?
The fantastic infinity pool is heated in the months of March, April and October. Usually in other opening periods it is not necessary to heat it thanks to the warm weather. In any case it is possible to request this service for an extra cost even in the months from May to September.
